Issa Condemns Newsom Prioritizing Pot Shops Over Many Seniors, Teachers, Law Enforcement

Congressman Darrell Issa sent a letter to Governor Gavin Newsom condemning the unfair prioritization of cannabis workers in California's vaccine distribution over many seniors, teachers, and law enforcement.

Issa released the following statement:

"As a fundamental matter, our seniors deserve direct access to the vaccine. Our law enforcement professionals put themselves in harm's way and come to the aid of the community whenever called. Our teachers are essential to getting our schools safely reopened as soon as possible. These Californians and other vulnerable populations-- not pot shops -- should be the Governor's top priorities at this crucial time."

Issa called on Newsom to rescind this recent vaccine reprioritization
