Statement

Date: Jan. 3, 2021
Location: Washington, DC

Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) released the following statement after taking the oath of office to represent West Virginia's Third Congressional District in the 117th Congress:

"I am honored to begin a second term representing Southern West Virginia in Congress," said Congresswoman Miller. "In the past two years, we have created more jobs, secured crucial funding for infants born into addiction, reduced opioids in our communities, and brought home millions of dollars in funding to build up our roadways, airports, and expand broadband in our state. As we move forward, I am committed to winning the fight against COVID-19, capitalizing on the scientific innovation happening in our energy industry, and reinvesting in every community in our state. I look forward to working with my colleagues and constituents to continue our effort to ensure West Virginia is the ideal place to live, work, and raise a family."
