Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) released the following statement regarding the Justice Department's announcement to drop the discrimination suit against Yale University:

"Schools like Yale illegally discriminate on the basis of race and national origin in the admissions process. The Department of Justice sought to right these wrongs, but now President Biden is scuttling DOJ's federal lawsuit and preventing Yale from being held accountable. I fear this is the first of many steps the Biden administration will take to politicize civil-rights law and give preferential treatment to well-connected allies."
