Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) released the following statement calling on the Biden Administration to revoke the last-minute small oil refinery waivers granted by the Environmental Protection Agency in the final hours of the Trump Administration. Ahead of this decision, Hinson and her colleagues in the Biofuels Caucus urged the Trump Administration against granting these exemptions.

"Granting small oil refinery exemption waivers at the last minute was a slap in the face to biofuel producers in Iowa. The Biden Administration should revoke these waivers immediately and ensure the integrity of the Renewable Fuel Standard is maintained going forward."
