Congressman Ben Cline (VA-06) released the below statement after being sworn in as a Member of the 117th Congress.

"While serving the people of Virginia's Sixth District these past two years, I have fought to defend the Constitution and put America first, protect the sanctity of life, defend the Second Amendment, secure our borders, lift regulatory burdens on businesses and farmers, drain the DC swamp, and promote fiscal responsibility. As the 117th Congress begins today, I will continue to fight for these conservative values in an effort to move our country forward and work tirelessly on behalf of those whom I am blessed to represent," Cline said.

Congressman Cline was first elected in 2018 and has served as a Member of the House of Representatives since January 3, 2019.

Congressman Ben Cline represents the Sixth Congressional District of Virginia. He previously was an attorney in private practice and served both as an assistant prosecutor and Member of the Virginia House of Delegates. Cline and his wife, Elizabeth, live in Botetourt County with their two children.
