Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) released the following statement on President-elect Biden's announcement to nominate General Lloyd Austin for Secretary of Defense:
"Congratulations to General Lloyd Austin on his nomination to be Secretary of Defense. His over 40 years of service to our country is remarkable and groundbreaking in many ways. There are many national security challenges facing our country from climate change and an aggressive Russia and China to the need to restore civilian-military relations. I look forward to hearing directly from General Austin in the weeks ahead as to how he will approach these challenges."
