Today, Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. (GA-02), Dean of the Georgia Congressional Delegation, released the following statement after Congressman Kwanza Hall (GA-05) was sworn in to serve the remainder of Congressman John Lewis' term in the 116th Congress:

"I was proud to be involved in Congressman Hall's swearing in ceremony today. He is a wonderful public servant who will serve in Congressman Lewis' spirit for the rest of his term in the 116th Congress. Congressman Hall knows the Fifth Congressional District and will represent his constituents well until Congresswoman Nikema Williams is sworn in to represent the Fifth District in January for the 117th Congress. Georgians appreciate his service to our state and nation for the remainder of 2020."
