Rep. Phil Roe, M.D. (R-Tenn.) released the following statement after President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump announced they tested positive for COVID-19:

"Clarinda and I are keeping the first family in our prayers. Our world-class treatments and rapid testing have improved dramatically since the onset of the pandemic, largely thanks to President Trump's unprecedented response. I know President Trump is a fighter, and I wish him a swift recovery."
