Issue Position

I have sponsored numerous pieces of Legislation but most recently have a key bill moving forward to notify residents and city leaders of combined sewer overflows (CSOs) into our state's waterways. This is only the beginning of working with our federal partners to find solutions to prevent CSOs.

I love rail trails and have brought generous state funding to the Communities of Haverhill and Methuen for these community pathways that create healthy ways for us to connect. I will aggressively seek state funding to expand the trails in the communities I represent. Ensuring the protection of our State's environment was the reason that I jumped into politics -- and will always be a top priority of mine.
