Pasadena Honors Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

On Monday, Congressman Adam Schiff attended a ceremony honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Bishop Mary Ann Swenson was the featured speaker. Elementary, middle and high-school students participated in an art and essay contest that honored the philosophy and principles of Dr. King's legacy. Congressman Schiff awarded certificates to each of the winners. "Each year on the anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.'s birth, America has the opportunity to reflect on our nation's progress towards the realization of his dream.
