Enjoying Arts, Parks and Tourism
New York is home to the greatest cultural institutions in the world. From local community groups to renowned performances and museums, New York has more opportunities for culture and community than any one person could experience in a lifetime. As Chair of the Committee on Tourism, Parks, Arts, and Sports Development, I have worked with partners big and small to ensure that New York remains fertile ground for creative development, and a place where consumers of art and culture have protections against bad behavior.

ACCESS TO ARTS FOR ALL
I have worked with museums and cultural institutions across New York to ensure that everyone has access to these wonderful opportunities. I have fought to expand funding for school trips to major museums, and made it easier for small arts organizations to get financial support for their programs.
