Energy and Commerce Committee Republican Leader Greg Walden (R-OR) released the following statement on the Republican agenda for the 117th Congress.

"Congratulations to E&C Republicans! I am proud every Republican member of E&C will return to Congress in January. While we are still awaiting results in some districts, one thing is already clear: Speaker Pelosi's radical agenda has been rejected by the American people. At the Energy and Commerce Committee we've always taken our responsibility to bipartisan legislating seriously, and it's incredible the results we've been able to deliver despite pushback from the liberal wing of the Democrat party every step of the way. House Democrats should take Republican gains across the country as a warning. The American people are watching, and socialist policies have no place in the United States of America. While I won't be a member of the 117th Congress -- the fight for commonsense and pragmatic policies will continue -- and I sincerely hope we can return to working across the aisle and renew, rebuild, and restore our great country. I know the Energy and Commerce Committee will continue to lead the way," said Walden.
