Today, U.S. Representative Ross Spano was presented with the "Friends of Farm Bureau' award by the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF). The AFBF awarded this recognition to Spano for his leadership in supporting Florida's farming and ranching communities.

"Since arriving to Congress, I've worked hard to protect the livelihoods of those in our district, including our ranchers and farmers. For our area, agriculture is more than just an industry--it's our history and our passion. I'm honored to receive this award on behalf of all constituents and I look forward to continuing fighting on behalf of all district residents," said Rep. Spano

This distinguished recognition is given to Members of Congress who have support the Farm Bureau's position on policy issues, as demonstrated by their voting records, and who were nominated by their respective state Farm Bureaus and approved by the AFBF Board of Directors.
