HOLT STATEMENT ON GOVERNOR CORZINE'S INAUGURATION
January 17, 2006

Today, Rep. Rush Holt (D-NJ) issued the following statement on the swearing-in of Governor Jon S. Corzine:

"Today, New Jersey begins a new era under Jon Corzine's leadership. Our state faces challenges to its finances, its environment, its infrastructure, and most importantly to the trust that citizens place in their elected officials. I know that Governor Corzine is prepared to meet those challenges. But he will not be alone in confronting them. I will do everything in my power to provide Governor Corzine and the state legislature the support they need to help New Jersey meet these challenges and keep our state an attractive place to live, work, and play."
