U.S. Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO) applauded the announcement that four public housing authorities in Colorado will receive a combined total of $513,902 in grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under the moderate rehabilitation program, which provides project-based rental assistance for low income families.

"Communities across our entire state are hurting as a result of COVID-19 and we must keep fighting to ensure relief is reaching those who need it most," said Senator Gardner. "I'm excited to see this important funding delivered to four public housing authorities in Colorado to help address the ongoing pandemic."

This funding is made available by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, and is in addition to the $2.8 million and more than $5.6 million that Senator Gardner announced Colorado received from HUD earlier this month, $44 million Colorado received from HUD in June, the $2.4 million and $12.7 million Colorado received from HUD in May, and the $4.4 million, $4.3 million, and $34 million Colorado received from HUD in April.
