Today, Congressman Jeff Van Drew issued the following statement in response to numerous outstanding issues of national importance that remain unresolved.

"The American people deserve representatives in Congress who work 24 hours a day and 7 days a week to come up with a deal that includes making sure unemployment issues are resolved, hazard pay for essential employees is passed, new direct stimulus payments to individuals are made, and the Postal Service is operating efficiently and effectively.

Stop the blame game. We can work together to get this done and we should not leave Washington until all of these important issues are fixed."
