Issue Position

You should be able to rest in the knowledge that our borders are secure, your community is protected, and the law is upheld. Unfortunately, border security remains an ongoing issue that rests primarily with the federal government to address. But where the legislature has had an opportunity to weigh in, I have been consistent in voting to uphold our laws, support increased border security measures, and discourage illegal immigration. When it comes to our local communities, I support our law enforcement as they put their lives on the line to keep us safe.
