Foster Statement on Supreme Court Rulings on Access to Trump Financial Records

Today, Congressman Bill Foster (D-IL) issued the following statement after the U.S. Supreme Court issued rulings on Trump v. Vance, and the consolidated cases of Trump v. Mazars and Trump v. Deutsche Bank:

"The Supreme Court has made it clear that no one, not even the President of the United States, is above the law. He is not immune from criminal investigation and cannot ignore congressional oversight. While these cases are sent back to lower courts for continued review, Congress -- including the House Financial Services Committee on which I serve-- will continue to conduct oversight on behalf of the American people, and defend the separation of powers that is so integral to our democratic system."
