North Carolina families are under assault. As your Senator, I fought to defend and preserve traditional marriage between one man and one woman by voting to put the Marriage Amendment on the ballot in May 2012. The people of North Carolina deserve the opportunity to vote on a Marriage Amendment to our state Constitution and now they will have the opportunity.
