Kustoff Discusses the Secure Campus Act During China Task Force Day

U.S. Representative David Kustoff (TN-08), presented his bill H.R. 7033 -- the SECURE Campus Act before the GOP China Task Force this week. This legislation bolsters President Trump's efforts to stop the Communist Party of China's ongoing attempts to steal cutting edge research and intellectual property from inside our American universities.

"With 1,000 open FBI cases regarding Chinese espionage in the United States, it is clear the Communist Party of China has exploited the openness of the American research enterprise for far too long. The time for tough talk is over. We need real solutions to fight back against Beijing," said Rep. Kustoff. "This bill will put an end to China's abuse and will help safeguard our country's national security. I appreciate Chairman McCaul and the China Task Force for allowing me to present this legislation."
