Today, U.S. Representative David Kustoff (TN-08) voted against Speaker Pelosi's H.R. 2, the Moving Forward Act. This partisan bill will cost our nation more than $1.5 trillion, forces costly Green New Deal policies, reduces states' flexibility, and limits building new roads and bridges.

"This bill was not a serious effort to improve our infrastructure, such as building bridges and fixing roads. Instead, it was drafted behind closed doors with no Republican input. It enacts Green New Deal policies and leaves rural America's infrastructure needs further behind. Our country needs a stable, long-term infrastructure fix and I look forward to working across the aisle to enact real change," said Rep. Kustoff.
