On Sunday, February 9, U.S. Senate candidate and State Representative Charles Booker will continue his fight for a democracy that includes all Kentuckians by spotlighting the importance of expanding the franchise and restoring voting rights.
Charles will meet with Jashaun Curry, a young Kentuckian whose right to vote has recently been restored by Gov. Andy Beshear's executive order, for a conversation about what it means to have your right to participate in our democracy returned.
Charles knows that our democracy works better when all Kentuckians have a voice. He also understands that empowering people is the only way to build a bold movement capable of beating Mitch McConnell.
