The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution guarantees that people have the right to keep and bear arms. Furthermore, that right shall not be infringed.

Citizens must have the right to defend themselves, their personal property and their families.

When elected, I will protect our 2nd Amendment rights as U.S. citizens guaranteed by the Constitution and will oppose all efforts to limit our Constitutional rights.

Penalizing the vast majority who are responsible and conscientious gun owners in response to high profile crimes is wrong. Worst of all, it will not solve nor stop incidents of mass violence.
