Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, Dr. Miscovich, and IRS Local Taxpayer Advocate to Offer Coronavirus Updates on Telephone Town Hall

On Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. HST, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (HI-02) will be hosting her weekly tele-town hall meeting to update Hawai"i residents about COVID-19. She recently returned from Washington, D.C. where she voted on H.R.6800, the HEROES Act. She will update residents about the bill and other efforts to operate Congress safely during the public health crisis.

Shawna Lamothe from the IRS and Gayvial James from the IRS Local Taxpayer Advocate office will provide an update on coronavirus relief efforts during the call. Dr. Scott Miscovich, will join Rep. Gabbard to answer questions about testing efforts across the state as Counties start implementing plans to reopen safely. Dr. Miscovich has been leading COVID-19 testing efforts and working closely as a senior advisor to Lt. Gov. Josh Green.

This will be the tenth of a weekly coronavirus-related live telephone town hall series Rep. Gabbard has hosted.
