Rep. Zeldin Ranked 12th Most Bipartisan Member of House

Today, Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1) was ranked as the 12th most bipartisan member of the House of Representatives out of 437 members by the Lugar Center and the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University. The non-partisan index measures the degree to which Senators and Representatives work across party lines on legislation.

"Time and time again, I hear the hardworking men and women of my district concerned that the issues most important to them are drowned out by Members of Congress unwilling to work with colleagues on the other side of the aisle," said Congressman Zeldin. "That's why, since coming to Congress, it has been an honor to work across the aisle to secure great bipartisan victories, like the permanent reauthorization of the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund, full funding for the National Estuary and Long Island Sound Programs, and, currently, working to provide Long Island with the resources it needs to fight coronavirus on the ground. When it comes to everyday Americans, there is so much more that unites us than divides us, and I look forward to continuing to secure more bipartisan victories for these hardworking Long Islanders."
