Congressman John Joyce, M.D. (PA-13) issued the below statement on Governor Tom Wolf's announcement that a number of Pennsylvania counties will proceed in the reopening process, including Franklin and Huntingdon Counties' transition to the yellow phase on Friday, May 29.

"After many weeks of aggressive mitigation, Franklin and Huntingdon Counties will at last move forward to the yellow phase of reopening -- welcome progress that is a result of Pennsylvanians' hard work to slow the spread of coronavirus and protect their neighbors. During this reopening process, it's important that all of us continue to follow CDC guidelines so that our commonwealth can move forward safely and expeditiously. It's time to get Pennsylvanians back to work and restore our economy to its full potential."
