Congressman Van Taylor Supports Phase III Coronavirus Relief Package

This afternoon, United States Congressman Van Taylor (TX-03) supported legislation to provide additional emergency funding to combat coronavirus.

After previously voting in favor of H.R. 6074, the Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Act and H.R. 6201, the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, Congressman Van Taylor (TX-03) joined his colleagues in support of H.R. 748, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act.

Following passage of the legislation in the House, Congressman Van Taylor released the following statement:
"My constituents need support and relief at this very moment and this bipartisan package will deliver desperately needed help directly to the families, workers, and businesses impacted by coronavirus. The legislation also helps the doctors, nurses, and first responders on the frontlines of crisis have the tools and equipment they need to safely do their job.

"As we continue to combat coronavirus, I want to remind all Americans to do their part to stop the spread. Listen to the recommendations of healthcare professionals and local and state officials. This is an unprecedented moment for our nation and while families face mounting uncertainty about their future, one thing is clear - we are in this together."

H.R. 748 the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act was passed today, Friday, March 27, 2020.
