Garrett Remembers Pearl Harbor

Congressman Garrett today issued the following statement on the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor:

"Each year, Pearl Harbor Day marks a monumental event in American history that we must never allow to fade from public memory. Just as the image of thousands of American lives lost on 9/11 just four years ago burns in our memory, so too must we never forget the brave Americans who gave their lives in defense of freedom 64 years ago. I urge all New Jerseyans to pause today and remember the tragedy of Pearl Harbor, to appreciate the triumphs that followed, and to capture the resolve that enabled ultimate victory as we wage the War on Terror today."
