Collins mourns the loss of senator Jack Hill

Rep. Doug Collins (R-Ga.) released the following statement upon the passing of Georgia Senator Jack Hill, Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee.

"My heart is heavy this evening as I mourn the loss of my friend, Georgia Senator Jack Hill. Jack was truly the epitome of a kind, humble and gentle soul. He didn't speak often, but when he did, everyone listened. A true statesman, Jack leaves behind a remarkable legacy of steadfast leadership and public service.

"Lisa and I are praying for Jack's wife, Ruth Ann, and his loved ones during this painful time."
