New Report Finds Gardner Bipartisan, Effective

U.S. Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO) is currently one of the most bipartisan and effective members of the Senate, according to a new report from GovTrack. The report analyzed Congress' legislative data in 2019 and found Senator Gardner ranked 1st in authoring the most bipartisan bills among Republican Senators and ranked 2nd when compared to every member of the U.S. Senate in the same category.

"I'm proud of my bipartisan record of results for Colorado," said Senator Gardner. "Great things are possible when we set aside partisan blinders and instead focus on the results that Coloradans care about. I will continue to work across the aisle for the good of our entire state, because it's what the people of Colorado want and should demand from their leaders in Washington."

According to the report, in 2019 Gardner introduced the 2nd most bipartisan bills, was the 9th most effective Senator at moving bills out of committee, ranked 9th in the Senate for joining bills authored by members of another party, and 11th for introducing the most amount of bills.

In August 2019, Quorum Analytics found Senator Gardner is one of the most bipartisan Senators in the 116th Congress.
The Lugar Center ranked Senator Gardner as the 5th most bipartisan Senator in 2019, moving up three spots from 8th in 2017.
Senator Gardner was previously ranked as the most effective member of the Colorado delegation.
