Issues: Trade

U.S. Representative Mike Johnson (LA-04) today released the following statement in regard to the signing ceremony of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement at the White House:

"A little over a year ago, President Trump stood alongside leaders from Canada and Mexico and promised to replace an outdated, ineffective trade agreement with one that will unleash jobs and economic opportunity across the country. Today, he delivered on that promise.

"While Democrats continue to obsess over impeachment, the President is working on the real challenges facing our nation. He's growing the economy, creating jobs, protecting our borders, and strengthening our military. I expect even greater accomplishments to come once he is acquitted and this sad chapter in American history is behind us."
