Wenstrup Welcomes Pro-Life Students and Families from Southwestern Ohio to Washington

Date: Jan. 24, 2020
Location: Washington, DC
Issues: Reproduction

Today, Congressman Brad Wenstrup (OH-02) and Congressman Steve Chabot (OH-01) hosted a reception for more than 500 pro-life students and families from Southwestern Ohio.

"The Right to Life is the most critical of all others. That is why the Founders listed it first in the Preamble of the Declaration of Independence. Tragically, however, our country has failed to secure that right for more than 61 million individuals since the Supreme Court's ruling in Roe v. Wade," said Congressman Brad Wenstrup.

"Fortunately, as science and technology progress, Americans are better able to see the undeniable humanity of unborn children. It is my sincerest hope that those who experience a crisis pregnancy choose adoption, which is deeply personal to me as a father and doctor.

"Today, I had an opportunity to meet with hundreds of Ohioans who are urging the government to defend life through legislation and in the court system. I was inspired, in particular, by the many young people whose energy and enthusiasm give me hope that one day all human life will receive the protection it deserves."

Congressman Wenstrup is a member of the Pro-Life Caucus.
