Congressman Steve Watkins (KS-02) a Member of Republican Whip Steve Scalise's USMCA Whip Team, issued the following statement:

"President Trump has delivered on another promise in renegotiating the broken North American Free Trade Agreement. As a member of Whip Steve Scalise's USMCA Whip Team, I applaud my colleagues in the House and all of those who have helped us reach this historic day. USMCA is a win for Kansas farmers, ranchers, workers, and business owners. It is sure to bring tremendous growth to the Kansas economy."

Republican Whip Steve Scalise issued the following statement:

"USMCA is a triumph for workers. President Trump has delivered a 21st century trade deal that truly benefits the forgotten men and women of America. It has been a team effort to get this deal over the finish line and no team was more critical to this process than the USMCA Whip Team. We wouldn't be here without Steve's hard work and engagement."
