Statement

Location: Washington, DC

Today, Congresswoman Lois Frankel (FL-21) issued the following statement following the revelation that President Trump told National Security Adviser John Bolton that he would continue the freeze on military aid to Ukraine until the country agreed to investigate Trump's political rival:

"Leaked excerpts from John Bolton's memoir confirm that Trump said he would withhold aid from Ukraine for his own personal, political purposes, there can be no doubt now that Bolton must be called as a witness at the Senate impeachment trial. The American people deserve the truth, and the Constitution demands a fair trial."
