The data is overwhelming: Americans are working more and longer. But older workers can be particularly vulnerable to workplace descrimination. That is why I cosponsored H.R 1230, the Protecting Older Workers Against Discrimination Act, which passed the House on Wednesday. The bill reverses standing Supreme Court case law that makes it difficult for victims to prove they lost their job because of age discrimination.
