Today, Representative Greg Walden (R-Hood River) released a statement following President Donald Trump signing the United States-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement (USMCA) into law:
"I applaud President Trump for his leadership on getting this trade agreement across the finish line. This new agreement modernizes our trade polices with both Mexico and Canada, and supports nearly 7,500 Oregon jobs that rely on fair trade between American businesses, Mexico, and Canada. President Trump's signature will open new opportunities and markets for the $3.7 billion in wine, wheat, dairy, and other goods that Oregon businesses export to our neighbors," said Walden.
