Congressman Tony Cárdenas (CA-29) released the following statement today commemorating the Roe v. Wade decision:

"Today marks the 47th anniversary of Roe v Wade, the historic decision that affirmed a woman's right to choose. This landmark SCOTUS ruling ensured that a woman's reproductive health decision is her own. While many Republicans work to undermine Roe v. Wade, I will always fight to protect women's reproductive freedom and make sure Roe v. Wade remains the law of the land."
