Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1) issued the following statement on the death of Qassim Soleimani, head of Iran's Quds Force, who was killed in a U.S. airstrike at Baghdad International Airport.

"The days of rolling US senior leaders at the negotiating table and killing U.S. soldiers on the battlefield with impunity are over," said Congressman Zeldin. "Thank you to all of our nation's brave men and women who served very necessary justice to Quds Force commander Qassim Soleimani. The United States of America is the greatest nation on earth with the greatest military ever."
