Senator John Hoeven today issued the following statement on the passing of Eliot Glassheim, former member of the North Dakota House of Representatives and the Grand Forks City Council.

"Eliot dedicated decades of his life to serving the people of Grand Forks and North Dakota. He will long be remembered for his hard work and good nature. Mikey and I extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones, and join with people from across North Dakota in expressing our appreciation for his life of service."
