U.S. Rep. Terri Sewell (AL-07), a senior member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, released the following statement today after the House Judiciary Committee approved two articles of impeachment against President Trump:

"Today is a somber moment in our nation's history. Given the gravity of the charges and overwhelming facts that came out of the Intelligence Committee and the discussion in the Judiciary Committee, it saddens me it was a party line vote."
