Rep. TJ Cox (CA-21) released the following statement upon Senate passage of a resolution in acknowledgement of the Armenian Genocide.

"I was proud to help lead on formally recognizing the Armenian Genocide in the House of Representatives, not because of global events, but because this tragedy should never have been left unacknowledged," said Rep. Cox. "I thank my colleagues in the Senate from both sides of the aisle for following the House's lead on this important issue, and staying persistent after the vote was blocked several times."
