My district alone is home to more than 25,000 Sikhs and seven of the largest Gurdwaras in our country. I am thankful to Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) for introducing this resolution in the Senate, which will help to bring the deserve recognition of the historical, cultural, and religious contributions and significance that Sikh Americans have made here in the 21st District and throughout the United States."
