Statement

Date: Nov. 15, 2019
Location: Washington, DC

Today, the House passed the Export Finance Agency Act to reauthorize the Export-Import (EXIM) Bank. The EXIM Bank, the official export credit agency of the United States, ensures American businesses can remain competitive in a globalized economy. Congresswoman Moore released the following statement:

"While Americans are being battered by Trump's reckless trade war, Democrats are fighting to ensure American industries remain competitive by supporting access to important markets. The EXIM bank and the trade it facilitates supports many workers here in Milwaukee and Wisconsin. Passing this legislation builds upon that commitment, making it a win for American workers, businesses and our economy."
