Today, US Congressman Matt Gaetz (FL-01) issued the following statement in response to the United States Department of Agriculture's announcement that Florida will receive $380 million in block grants for timber losses

"I'm encouraged by the recent announcement from USDA that Florida will receive $380 million in block grants for timber losses. The panhandle has waited patiently for this money after the devastating effects of Hurricane Michael. Thanks to the help of President Trump, Governor DeSantis, Senator Rubio, and Senator Scott, Northwest Florida can continue the rebuilding process of our beautiful emerald coast. There is still a lot of work to be done, but this is a step in the right direction," Congressman Matt Gaetz said.
