Congressman Bradley Byrne (R-AL) led a group of Republican Members of Congress today into an underground Capitol room where Chairman Adam Schiff was conducting secretive impeachment hearing with a Defense Department official. In this video, Congressman Byrne details his authority as a member of the Armed Services Committee to hear testimony on matters under his committee jurisdiction, describes the morning's events, and explains why House Democrats' violation of House precedents and transparency is harmful to our nation.

Congressman Byrne said: "Enough! This is a sham. They're trying to impeach a President of the United States behind closed doors, with no rules, with no resolution to set it up. The American people are seeing this for what it is, but we're going to have to continue to stand up and push back against this nonsense, and that's what happened today."
