U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) issued the following statement regarding the ongoing contract dispute between the United Automobile Workers (UAW) International Union and General Motors:
"I stand in strong support with the UAW and the nearly 50,000 workers striking for better pay, better healthcare, and a better future for their families. I call on General Motors to work with union leaders in good faith to end the strike, so that the hardworking men and women of the UAW can get back to doing what they do best: moving America forward."
