Delgado Appointed to Bipartisan Conference Committee to Negotiate the Fiscal Year 2020 National Defense Authorization Act

Statement

This evening, U.S. Representative Antonio Delgado (NY-19) was appointed as a conferee to the Fiscal Year 2020 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) Conference Committee. This bipartisan conference committee is tasked with resolving differences between the House and Senate-passed NDAA.

"I am honored to work alongside my colleagues to authorize our defense programs for Fiscal Year 2020 and bring New York 19th Congressional District's voice to the table in these negotiations." Delgado continued, "I am committed to working with both sides of the aisle to support our men and women in uniform who sacrifice every day to protect our nation, and I will use this position to advocate for our upstate New York veterans and national security interests."
