Today, U.S. Rep. Angie Craig issued the following statement in recognition of Independence Day.
"Today, we celebrate the independence of our great country, the founding of our robust democracy, and the idea that every American has the right to participate equally in our government. While today is a day of celebration, it is also a time for us to honor our Veterans and servicemembers who have served and sacrificed in defense of these values," said Rep. Craig.
