Rich gets it. He doesn't trust career politicians either. While both parties set their agendas in Richmond, pitting one "side" against the other, we in Virginia are stuck in the middle of our Commonwealth being pulled apart. Gerrymandering is a leading cause of political polarization, it creates incumbency advantages, it decreases levels of electoral competition, and it has led to further political battles being played out in our courts. As an outspoken advocate for ending gerrymandering; Rich will fight for redistricting reform, term limits, and campaign finance reforms. He knows that if we are going to ever put people over political parties and special interests, we have to have transparency, accountability, and continually refresh our electorate.
