U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) has cosponsored S. 1162, a bill which would make individual tax cuts from the 2017 Tax Reform bill permanent, giving Oklahomans long-term certainty in planning for the future.

Tax Reform made the corporate tax cut permanent, but the individual and small business tax cuts are set to expire at the end of 2025. Inhofe joined Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) on this legislation to make the individual and small business tax cuts permanent. It is also cosponsored by Sens. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.), Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) and Mike Braun (R-Ind.).

"Making the 2017 individual tax cuts permanent is the right next step for Oklahomans and I am proud to join Sens. Cruz, Ernst, Blackburn, Cramer and Braun on this straightforward, commonsense piece of legislation," said Sen. Inhofe. "We have seen the success of the long-needed tax cuts and making them permanent will ensure hard-working Oklahomans can reap the benefits for years to come."
